Dr. Charles Welechi is the Founder and Managing Director of COMEG Consulting Group Ltd, a UK-based management consultancy created to help organisations strengthen strategy, improve performance, modernise operations and deliver complex change with greater confidence.
His multidisciplinary professional and academic foundation combines organisational behaviour, cross-cultural leadership, engineering and international project management. He holds a PhD in Organisational Behaviour and Cross-Cultural Leadership, a BEng (Hons) in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, and a Master's degree in International Project Management. This combination gives him a practical systems perspective: understanding how people, processes, technology, risk, governance and delivery disciplines must work together if transformation is to produce measurable results.
His work spans business advisory, organisational transformation, project and programme management, AI-enabled project delivery, leadership development, business documentation and executive coaching. He is particularly interested in helping organisations move from fragmented ways of working to structured operating models supported by clear governance, disciplined project controls, responsible use of artificial intelligence and accountable leadership.
At COMEG, he leads the development of practical consulting frameworks including business health checks, transformation roadmaps, AI-readiness assessments, project governance systems and leadership development programmes. His approach is deliberately implementation-focused: diagnose the real problem, establish evidence, define the target state, prioritise what matters, assign accountability, measure progress and transfer capability to the client.
He also brings experience as an engineer, project-management practitioner, consultant, trainer, life coach and relationship counsellor. That multidisciplinary background informs a leadership philosophy centred on integrity, responsibility, continuous learning, respect for people and sustainable value creation.
As Managing Director, his role is to ensure that COMEG remains client-focused, commercially disciplined and professionally governed while building a consultancy capable of serving SMEs, corporates, public sector organisations, charities, NGOs and international clients.
